My Darling Sister

Louisa Smith, from Bedfordshire, says: “After my beloved sister Vicky Lovelace-Collins was killed in a road accident, the CPS authorised a charge of causing death by careless driving. But the driver fled the country, to escape the courts. Devastated, grief-stricken, I then had to start a campaign for some kind of justice, launching an online petition calling for the UK Government to convince the Turkish authorities to extradite the woman who caused my sister’s death, to stand trial. When Prime features agency first approached me, my main reason for speaking out was to draw attention to this very serious issue, and invite more people to sign my petition. But I was also able to tell everyone about my wonderful sister, who did so much for others and is missed by so many. Tracy was able to place my story with Woman’s Own and Chat magazines, attracting more signatures and giving a welcome boost to my ongoing fight.”
